This website, mekatrone.ng, is run by Mekatron & Persones ("Mekatron", "we", "us"), of A73 Dubai Abuja International Trade Centre, Kaura, Abuja, Nigeria. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We handle it in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
Your name, email address, password (stored securely by our authentication provider — we never see it), and, if you add them, your phone number, date of birth and profile photo.
When you apply to join the Mekatron Flyers Club we collect your contact details, date of birth, nationality, flying experience, an emergency contact's name and phone number, a passport-style photograph, a copy of a government-issued ID, and your signature on the membership agreement. Once you are a member we also keep your member number, membership tier and membership history.
When you enrol in or book training we keep your enrolment, the sessions you book and attend, and notes your trainer records about your progress.
When you buy from us — including as a guest — we collect your name, email address, phone number and, for delivery, your address. We keep a record of what you ordered, its status and your invoices and receipts.
If you are a member and use these features, we store the aircraft you register (including photos) and the flights you log.
Payments are processed by Paystack. Your card or bank details go straight to Paystack and are never sent to or stored by us. We keep the payment reference, amount, date and outcome.
If you email us, we keep your message and our reply so we can help you.
Like most websites we receive your IP address and basic device and browser information when you visit. We use it to keep the site secure — for example, to limit repeated attempts at sensitive actions — and, only if you agree, for analytics. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use trusted service providers who process information on our behalf and only as we instruct:
Your trainers can see the details they need to teach you, such as your name, contact details and session history. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the safety of our members and the public.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Nigeria. Where that happens we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards, as the Nigeria Data Protection Act requires.
We keep your information while your account is open and for as long as we need it for the purposes above.
You can delete your account from your account dashboard. When you do, we delete your sign-in, profile photo, passport photograph, registered aircraft and their photos, saved delivery details and notifications. We keep a record of your club membership (including your signed membership agreement), your orders, your flight logs and your invoices and receipts, because we need them for club records, accounting and legal obligations.
Our Junior membership and some training programmes are for people under 18. We only collect a child's information with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, and we use it only to provide the membership or training they signed up for.

Information is encrypted in transit, access to it is restricted to the staff who need it, and identity documents and signatures are held in private storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will act promptly if something goes wrong.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new revision date.
